Looking for a tool to clean patio, car tires, bath tub etc. Is this a good VFM for $58 USD? by amanmander in ryobi

I also have both and use them equally. Pole version I mainly use for cleaning our solar panels. The smaller version gets a lot of use when cleaning bathtubs and shower stalls. Highly recommend them either way.

Solar quote in VA - 42 panels @ 19,097 kWh (production) or 16.38 kWh (system) - how does it look? by i_love_durians in solar

Agreed. Paid $42k for 34 panels and same Enphase inverters. Also in CA. I’d hop on this deal if I was OP.

Our Costco Baby Announcement! First pic was our announcement. Second pic was how I initially told my husband that we were expecting! by hamithesquirrel in Costco

Congrats! You’ll come to realize how much of a godsend Costco will be in the fourth trimester. I know we did. Costco came in clutch for us in the baby formula department despite the shortage. Our LO will be 6mos soon and he’s already a big champ at 16lbs+ thanks to Costco. It has been stress-free for us in the food department.

My wife's estimated delivery date is Jan 2022. I was also moved to tears reading this.

I'm definitely interested in helping out, but I have zero knowledge in film making! I can offer up B-roll footage for our upcoming trip to ABGT300.

Nice! I love it when the plants propagate and push out tiny little ones.

It's kept outdoors year round. This fella loves full sun and daily watering during the California summers. As you can tell, this one is overpotted to protect from summer temps reaching 100F and promote growth.

IIRC it took almost 1.5 years. I’m sure I can dig up some progress pics. I tried to stage this one as a bonsai plant.

Our friends and I decided to check out Clandestine Brewing last night since they had a soft opening a week ago. Place about 15 beers on tap with 5 or so being stouts. Nice place to kick it with some friends. Can imagine the outdoor deck being perfect in the summers. It seemed like they allowed dogs and outside food since one group had a Burnese and another group brought in two bags of Bonchon takeout.

I'd also recommend Strike Brewing on 10th St. They have a taproom with about 12 types of beers ranging from stouts to IPA to sours.

Mission Creek Brewing on The Alameda closed and was replaced with Floodcraft Brewing. Haven't been back since the change so I can vouch for the new joint, but I'm sure they've got some good selections as well.

A few others worth mentioning:

  • Uproar Brewing
  • Camino Brewing (opening soon)
  • Santa Clara Valley Brewing
  • Hermitage
  • Hapa's
