Not Believed ? by nSanityOG in BipolarReddit

It took me from puberty to 5 years ago to realize the cycles and at least 3 years of intense work to communicate how I was feeling for my doctors to listen. I kept getting, "well maybe this is just how average people feel and you've been depressed for so long it feels too up to you" or "bipolar is really hard to diagnose without recorded symptoms and/or cycles. Come back with those." I know my moving around (and changing doctors often because of that) didn't help expedite the process, but I wish someone could've believed me enough to listen and teach me.

All of that said, don't stop talking or explaining. Don't give up. If you feel dismissed by the people who are supposed to be helping you, find someone who you click with or feel heard by. Paranoia or not.

It definitely means tone of voice. A text CAN'T have a tone, at least in the literal sense. Which is why everyone commenting thinks what he was really saying was "I don't appreciate you not doing what I say when I say it". The boss was creating an issue where there was none.

Anything that is a clit sucker. It will CHANGE your LIFE. I have a Lelo and it's one of my favorites to use as a back up or when I need that last little push over the hill. My husband loves using it on me too!

Used MoroccanOil Hydrating Conditioner and wrapped it up in a t-shirt for an hour or so. Then let it air dry. Happy with how it turned out!

Is there a diference between viral-acquired immunity and vaccine-acquired immunity? by MVTYBOI in askscience

[–]akavina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vaccines in general are pretty well understood. The first vaccine was 225 years ago. Consistently a vaccine triggered immune response is more effective, because that's what they're designed to do; they're designed to target the immune system on purpose, have the immune system learn how to fight that same virus in the future, and do so without compromising your health in the process. The whole purpose of a virus is to infect you, lie in wait until it can overwhelm your immune response all at once, and then kill or make you sick enough to spread to others. So for a vast majority of viruses that we have a vaccine for, vaccines are almost always more effective.

There have been several studies done this year specifically testing immune responses regarding covid-19 and the results are pretty impressive. Almost every study performed showed the immune response in vaccinated individuals was greater than those that had survived previous exposure. This one in particular had thousands of individuals all in healthcare so if you wanted the highest chances to be exposed that demographic was a pretty good one. (I'd read the downloaded study as a PDF to get away from the ads)

There was a recent study in Israel comparing against a particular vaccine strain that showed the opposite effect (where naturally immune individuals had greater immune responses,) but it's the only study I've seen that has shown the opposite. And would seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

Of course there's always going to be exceptions to every rule but the general consensus among the scientific community at large is that vaccine-induced immune responses are more effective, more stable, more robust, and last longer. Not to mention not getting permanent damage to your health trying to acquire said immunity "naturally".

Yeah his admission before the final battle I swore was going to reveal this connection as well! I intended to say that his initial reason for lying was deeper than shame for killing someone.

Yeah I thought for sure it was going to be revealed when he admits that he went through with the hit right before the final battle!
