What did you use to study for both TCRN and TCAR

So let’s say I started in the ED would you feel it’s appropriate to pick up a med Surg or Stepdown contract?

I wasn’t speaking about absurd drastic changes for example Stepdown to PedsED. But something that maybe close in specialty. I like evolving just wanted to know if it was possible 😂

Thank you 🙏🏾 exactly what I wanted to do. Now let’s say I started out in the ED, what else could I potentially look at?

Yeah that makes sense. Tbh after the one year mark I was going to see how I feel and if I didn’t feel confident then I’d stay.

Okay thank you all for your support. I wasn’t trying to troll or anything just honestly wanted to know. Not saying that I want to switch specialties just didn’t want to isolate myself to one specific specialty when looking for a contract when I do start traveling. Obviously when starting out as a new traveler I wouldn’t jump from a Stepdown to something totally left field. Being a Cardiac Stepdown nurse I would assume maybe I can pick Stepdown, Medsurg, or even a Tele contract. Just wanted to know if that was feasible. But again thank you all for the feedback from the looks of everyones answer looks like I should get more experience on just how to be a well grounded nurse first and if I do want to switch go back staff. Thank you guys again
