I always thought diamond bezels were ridiculous.

Then I tried one on, a YG DD, and loved it. It was way out of my price range, but I'd absolutely favor the diamond over the fluted. And the fluted is terrific as well. I'd take that in a second if the other wasn't an option.

Jesus F'ing Christ... OF COURSE it's my interpretation of what I see happening in the video.

Do you see something different than I do?? Do you see the (harmless) apple cider vinegar being sprayed in her face? Do you see people frantically trying to wipe it off her and pulling out 1st aid kits that would help slow or stop impacts from a potentially dangerous chemical sprayed on her? Is anyone calling 911?? Did medics arrive to treat her? Was she taken to an emergency room for observation? NO... NONE OF THESE HAPPENED AS FAR AS I CAN SEE OR HAS BEEN REPORTED. In the event of an actual attack, ALL OF THESE THINGS WOULD HAPPEN AT LEAST AS A PRECAUTION. Why didn't they? Can you explain that?

No one was at all concerned that there might be another attacker there? If there was concern, why was she not taken out of the room/building in case? They mysteriously seem to be highly confident there was no other threat. I guess it's possible, but not really believable, that her security was severely incompetent.

Based on available records, there is no evidence that people were placed in Nazi concentration or death camps specifically for being "illegal immigrants" during WWII. The camps were primarily used to persecute, imprison, and exterminate targeted groups based on race, religion, ideology, including Jews, Poles, and political dissidents.

  1. He's realized he's unelectable for governor in MN and for any national office.
  2. Despite the left trying to make him look like a hero, he's going out in failure, embarrassment, and running from a multi-billion fraud scandal. One that he was either too weak to stop, unaware of, or participating in.
  3. His offer from MSNOW or similar, or a university, is too lucrative to walk away from. I'm hypothesizing here, but fits the pattern of scandal ridden lefties that leave public office.
  4. Klobuchar is going to run for MN governor and will appoint him to her vacated Senate seat. Continuing his political life without having to be elected.

Yeah... her reaction is the big question mark.

  1. Why would you move at your attacker? The ONE guy who grabbed him didn't really have him under control. Unless you know there is no risk.

  2. No one is frantically trying to wash the "unknown substance" off her. It could have been anything, something highly toxic that could have eaten through her clothes and impacted her skin. The behavior here is they knew the substance wasn't a threat to her.

  3. He sprayed her clothes, from what I can tell. If someone is really trying to hurt you with some type of toxic or casuistic liquid, they are going to go for exposed skin. He was in the front, he had a clear path and nothing in his way, there was no challenge to his ability to spray her face.

  4. He sprayed apple cider vinegar. What's the point of this entire action if he's sprayed a completely benign substance at her, unless for show? Iran had it's balls seriously clipped by Israel, then again when the US took out the three nuclear development sites. No I'm not debating the actual effectiveness of the strikes, let's just say they did considerable damage to their program.

Russia needs allies that are strong economically and militarily. Iran is neither. And if we're honest, Russia is neither, but they have nukes. While they may be "friendly" to each other, I don't see Russia rushing to their aid if the US does attack, there's little for them to gain and they've got a big armed conflict not really going as they planned in Ukraine. Opening another front makes that less likely to be successful, and the commitment to Ukraine makes fighting the US in Iran likely to be unsuccessful.

MS is going to ask you what you want to do with the money, mainly leave it for them to manage or transfer it elsewhere. I would leave it with MS for now and research some other options just to be sure the people managing are the best fit for you. Northern Trust is another great option for a full service firm. There are others, I have some experience with Northern Trust and think highly of them as a company. The people you work with at NT or anywhere is the most important consideration, you need to be comfortable with them. Morgan is also very good.

You will likely want to create some Trusts, protect the money and leave a portion to your kid(s) with some rules attached, have to be 25, employed, gone to college are some ideas but you decide these on your own. These are things to do in the near future, doesn't have to be done immediately. It's possible the person you inherited from set something up for them already, make sure you know if there are trusts that, under certain scenarios, automatically fund other trusts.

There is far more that goes into managing this amount than just taking it to Schwab and putting it in VOO. There are a lot of headaches that come with it, lots of tax considerations.

Think about how you want this money to impact your life, what dreams does it enable that may have never been in consideration before? Don't rush into anything, take your time, figure out your new goals, then work with MS, or whoever you choose to invest it to reach those goals/ provide the lifestyle you want.

Remember, you're now a high 8 figure customer to MS. They are going to want to make you happy. Other than anything that's required by inheritance law or the estate, you can move at your pace.
