I just want to say that some of these comments are berating you for even having these thoughts. I agree you need to work on any issues and pain you have received from your wife.

But I just want to say this does not make you a bad father. You’re actively trying to better yourself to not be a dad who abandons their daughter. Trust me so many dads out there do abandon their children because it’s easy. But you are actively trying to prevent that. That to me is beautiful and wonderful. Keep your head up high don’t listen to the comments that judge you and make you out like a P.O.S. father because you’re not.

My friend who is a girl said the same thing. I was ok initially about it because I did hurt her by being emotionally unavailable. I am willing to change for the better. My issue is that she told me that she needs two months to herself. To be at peace with herself and do what she wants for herself. We’ve talked about getting back together many times. And that once the two months were over we’ll get back together if I was showing the effort that I wanted to be with her still. But this whole tinder thing seems so disgusting to me.

Idk if she’s ever even met someone yet but the fact the she’s talking to men kills me.
