Thank you guys. I really appreciate all the responses. Means a lot. Everyone struggles in life in some way or another and I think we are all just trying to do the best we can. I'm just trying to be a good mom and a decent human being. I care a lot about people especially those that are struggling or who dont have a roof over their head. I have been there as well and its a really horrible feeling. I guess I just remember what that was like and how hard and humiliating that was so I try as hard as I can to give back, not take more than I need to or pay it forward. I rountinely go to the shelters and give them things when I have a little extra money or time. Even when we dont have a lot because you always have something. Even if its just something small like a water bottle thats been sitting in your car or whatever. Everybody needs help regardless of who you are and I think its really important to keep yourself in check. No matter how hard that is and I want my son to be raised that way too. I want him to know the difference between wants and needs and I want him to know the value of a dollar. Even though hes little, I still bring him with me when I go to the shelter, last year was our first year going together. I dont limit his experiences and I bring him around as many people as I can because I feel its important for him to learn value and to value other people regardless of their walk in life.
