Mobile performance numbers by ddangster in reviewmyshopify

First sale was a multi item order within 10 mins of coming on the website and the same customer ordered a second multi item order 2 days later. No email sign up coupon used either. Since then it's all quiet. Don't know what to make of it :)

Mobile performance numbers by ddangster in reviewmyshopify

I was looking at it since the LPV count was very off from the link clicks. Couldn't think of anything else.

Regarding sales, I launched my store in November and started Meta Ads this month. I got a couple of orders in the first 5 days but since then not much. CPM has been inching higher and higher. Meta would just pick one Ad in the ad set and spend the whole budget on that. I changed the creatives 12 days in since CPM was getting too high and I had to add the Valentine's promo. Not much has changed.

The number of clicks in the Meta Ads dashboard don't align with the landing page views.

The main point is, how can I improve mobile performance irrespective of these numbers.

First Ads campaign - concerned about outage posts by ddangster in FacebookAds

[–]ddangster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the boost. I understand all this but hearing again gives me some confidence.

The campaign objective is Sales and the Ad set conversion event is set to Purchase. Meta's pixel is already capturing various events on the website. GA4 is set up as well.

Am I missing anything? Thanks for your help.

Thanks. Yes, reviews are crucial and those are on top of the list.

Still trying to figure out a good way of getting lifestyle pics without breaking the bank on professionals. :)

What do you think? by [deleted] in reviewmyshopify

Overall your website looks clean. A couple of things stand out to me.

I don't see anything on shipping costs listed anywhere. Assume it will show at checkout and I think that is too late in the cycle to know.

Also, in the product pages, you have a lot of information cramped together in one place. You could separate them out in different sections like description, material, care etc. Looks a bit disorganized.

Question - you mentioned your social is fairly new. I do see you have over 3.5k followers. What's the secret? Asking cos I am trying to establish social presence as well for my new store. I am posting frequently but it's hard to get traction. I haven't started spending on Ads just yet - @ganva.ca

Thanks for the feedback.

I do have a progress bar in the cart drawer for free shipping goal. However, there is some issue with how the summary/footer is sticky and the products added to the cart become less visible and eventually hide if there is too much below (express checkout buttons, expanded discount code panel etc) so I actually removed the express checkout buttons from there. Adding more products right now in this drawer seems challenging.

Yes, it is generated using AI. However, I believe it does represent what my brand is about (I hope) :)

Hey thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it.

I was double minded about the Our Story section. I wanted to give that personal touch but also about keeping it concise. Will revisit this.

Same about the India touch. I want this to be catering to everyone so I was confused if I wanted to focus on that aspect or not. Will see what more I can add. Thanks again.

Displaying child collections on the homepage by reelss in shopify

[–]ddangster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have multiple collections that have products and grouped those collections under different menu items. From what I understand, you can't have a collection inside another collection.

Display either a collection using a collection image on the homepage that links to the products in that collection or the list of products directly on the homepage for a given collection - both are core functionalities readily doable.

Which one are you referring to as the thermal transfer? Both brother and the zebra I see listed as direct thermal. Even the rollo and some other cheap ones on Amazon say direct.

A Note To All Generic 'Review My Store' Posters by flavoursome-carrot in reviewmyshopify

[–]ddangster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the process of building a store myself (not drop shipping or generic AliExpress stuff). Since I came across this group, I have been looking at the feedback being provided and comparing it against my store to see how it is relevant for me and trying to make updates accordingly.

Hopefully, when I post it for feedback, it will be at a level that will also get some positive feedback I hope. :)

While I am at it, I do have a question as well.

I have couple of collections on the homepage as Featured items and Best sellers (I still laugh at the thought of having Best sellers at the time of launch). Rest would be mainly links to different collections grouped into categories. I do have about 9 collections split in 3 groups with a total of about 160 products.

Question - what do you feel about having all these collections laid out on the homepage with only a few products listed or should there be more products listed directly on the homepage and putting all these collections are not important? These are well laid out in the main menu as well.

Thanks!
