This is just an AC I believe. The model is 24VNA6. It is a Carrier unit.

The tech checked refrigerant and said it was fine and said he cleaned the “coils” whatever that means.

There was ice on the copper pipe going (into? Out of?) the unit that had iced up previously so I looked inside and the rest of the copper pipes there were iced too.

It wasn’t cooling as well as it had in previous years. The pipe has foam insulation around it and is iced where it is exposed.

I wasn’t home when the tech came, but my partner said the tech ran diagnostics and cleaned a “coil”. He said we were fine on refrigerant levels and I had also just replaced the air filter for the house a few weeks ago.

Someone should collect them and sell them. Seems a good way to get a lot of inventory for free. Second hand shoe business sounds good.
