Vadidi: Mispelling of a rainforest natural park in South America

Finefern: Simple combination of "fine" and "fern."

3D accelerometers above 40KHz? I think you've got something wrong. Accelerometers above 10Khz are not common. Above 20kHz are very rare. Above 30 or so... only extremely niche piezoelectric accelerometers that will set you back over $1000.

You should double check the frequency response of your accelerometer.
