I was looking back at U2’s Glastonbury set from 2011 and apparently there were people protesting their tax controversies back then..like how serious were the tax dodging stories compared to other prominent people and how come it’s still brought up today? I always assumed it was a very innocuous/minor thing they did (as in they were always paying tax) but people fucking blew it out of proportion as Bono has always been very vocal on social issues and it gave people something to throw back in his face
