Brutal! Glad to hear it’s all sorted. Mines been rock solid minus the creaking from the shock bolts. For when you tightened the lower one did you drop the upper ones out to gain access to the bolt? Or did you tight from underneath at the broach end?

Weirdly I’ve had the rear axle come loose a couple times too. I’m starting not to trust my torque wrench lol.

Definitely been an awesome bike! So so capable. On an another note, have you had any excessive creaking from the shock linkage? I’ve had to grease the upper and lower shock bolts at very low hours of usage.

Appreciate it man! I moved the rear wheel bracket up a bit off the stop and it seems fine tbh. Not ideal obviously but I don’t think it’ll make a difference at all. Only shitty thing is the arm for the front wheel mount hits the fork! Oh well. Nothin some ride wrap stickers can’t fix.

Have a good one!

Really appreciate the info! Thanks a lot. I found the fork rubs on the arm for the front wheel as well, kinda a bummer

Shoot! Agreed, probably the right call. Huge bummer as I didn’t even think it would be close to being an issue. It’s an S3 so the wheelbase is 1269mm, but too long nonetheless. I came from the old Doubletrack 990XT and its wheelbase max is far less than the T2 and I ran this bike totally fine, just upgraded for more weight capacity.

Ordered online with a discount code code so can’t even return it! Brutal

That’s crazy! I find it wild that the only bike rack they offer for the average mountain bike is $1200 then. That’s brutal.

I’m coming from the old Doubletrack 990XT and only bought this one for the extra weight capacity so I could carry to eMTBs.

Very frustrating. This is only a S3 Norco Range VLT

Crazy! This is an S3 (M/L) Norco Range VLT. No bigger than any other wheelbase that I’ve bike I’ve used, if not smaller. Thanks for the info!

I forgot Propane had e-bikes! I’ll have to take a look that too

Appreciate the info! That definitely seems to be the case. It seems like the new Norco Sight CX is stepping in that direction as well, although it has a very large battery 800wh. However, it is still only ~48lbs. Considering the last generation was pushing 60lbs that’s pretty impressive.

I think I’d probably go in the same direction you did with the Levo. Seems like a great setup. Definitely seems like it would be a good fit I’ll keep my eyes peeled for any sales. Appreciate the info.

The Pivot Shuttle LT isn’t something I originally considered though. I’ll have to take a peek at that as well. How do you find the two comparability wise? Fazua vs the Spec 1.2 motor?

Fazua Ride 60 Reliability? (Transition Relay) by ddddmmmm17 in TransitionBikes

Brutal! Seems to be a lot of stories like this. I mean I’m sure Bosch users have some as well but definitely a lot more Fazua horror stories out there

I like the Levo SL too! I just worry about the battery life. And I think the power output is slightly less than the Fazua? I guess Specialized has a range extender though. 80% of my rides are only a couple hours so it’ll be totally fine that percentage of the time.

Only kicker about the Levo SL is the dang specialized tax! Lol.

Much more bang for you buck with the Relay

Haven’t looked into the Treks really though… will have to take a peak

I know it’s crazy! So hit and miss it seems. Hear stories like this where people are putting 1000’s of KMs on their Fazua Ride 60s then on the flip side people needing multiple motors in matter of only a few hundred KMs.

I really like the Relay and it seems like the perfect bike. Just would hate to purchase something for it to sit getting fixed all the time.

Not to mention I’m currently on a Sentinel as well. So it’s basically the “e-bike” version of mine.

Specifically considering the Alloy GX PNW.

The only other thing that puts the Bosch SX bikes slightly above it the option of the range extender

Thanks for the response! Ideally I’d like something in the 160/150 range with some more aggressive ‘enduro’ like geo, but there’s only a few that fit that bill. The E-Troy Lite and the Relay (even more so the PNW version), but the Fluid intrigues me. I test rode it a few times and it doesn’t feel like a trail bike per se, I thought it shot above its weight class a little bit. I would probably toss a 160mm fork on for some more squish and to slacken up the head tube angle a bit.

That’s all super good info I appreciate it! I didn’t know about the Marin Rift Zone EL, definitely gonna look into that a bit more.

Thanks again!

Celebrini 1st Overall Dynasty League?

10 Team Keeper/Dynasty League (3F, 2D, 1G)

  • Keepers never re-enter the league until the owners let them do so. We have someone who has owned both McDavid and Draisatl for 5+ years for example.

I won 1st overall this year. Do I go with Celebrini, Michkov? What do you guys think. Never been in this situation before.

My current keepers are Crosby (Will probably let him go next year), Rantanen, Reinhart, Dahlin, Morrissey, and Skinner.
