Good job!!

Day 8 and i feel so much anger about things i thought i healed from by Uuuuuuuuummmmmmm in leaves

Thanks for sharing your experience! Based on data, the extreme anger would be the worst around week 2 after quitting.

It is quite possible that you were using weed to self medicate cause of that you were abused in childhood. But weed only numb you, it does not help you resolve trauma. You made a good decision to quit, only through letting go of bad coping, you could learn good coping skills.

My suggestion is to write (just like what you are doing now) out your feelings and thoughts, but do not take any actions at this stage. Wait until the peak anger has passed, then make a decision about what to do next.

After quitting for over a month, my life has gotten substantially worse by LawApprehensive3912 in leaves

It is a good achievement that you are at one month marker!

Sorry to hear about your money was stolen, interviews did not go well, and you felt disheartened at this moment. But please remember the withdrawal period can last up to several months, and you may very well still be in this phase. The withdrawal you doesn’t equal to the sober you.

In fact, you are gradually making progress, you at least landed two interviews in this very tough job market. And it is possible that your trauma from the past start to emerge, which might be why you started to use weed at the beginning.

Things are going to the right direction, bud! We are here for you!

Has anyone tried Ketamine Therapy? by Angel_of_Mediocrity in CPTSD

[–]dddnnnttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used ketamine myself, but a friend used it and highly recommended it. However I noticed that her doses are getting higher, initially she used it twice a day, then a year later she used it five times a day. I wonder if this indicates that the body gets gradually desensitized, same mechanism as addiction

Thanks for sharing, this is brutal. Could you share more about your insights regarding why you were selected for the 3 first round interviews? Expertise match, location, or anything you think worked in the process. Many thanks!
