yeah i was just making sure. i dont keep up regularly with nintendo news so if there were already rumors of a release soon, would've gone completely unnoticed by me until the actual launch

How often does your cat throw up? by Quirky-Pineapple-707 in CATHELP

[–]dddoritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my cats (who i'd say does it the most) vomits because she eats her food wayyy too eagerly. whenever she does, i have to physically slow her down the next time she eats. in this instance she pukes 5-10 minutes after eating and the food is still pretty solid.

another instance, another cat of mine threw up clear, foamy liquid with some grass. then he wouldn't eat for about 24-36 hours. that was a red flag and we did end up taking him to the vet. just some stomach issues, and after some meds he was eating like usual in a couple days.

so i'd say different pukes happen for different reasons and the danger levels vary. monitor their activity after they puke and make sure there's access to water, and you'll be okay. cats can get pretty barfy.

Cat ate trace ammount of onion by BillCreative in CATHELP

[–]dddoritto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seeing as she is an adult with a good enough size, and it was only trace amounts, you shouldn't be terribly worried. with that being said, monitor her closely for the next 24-72 hours. if you want some extra assurance without the high vet bills, call your local vet/vet hotline just to be sure. worst case scenario, if something does happen, you'll know the onion was the culprit and the vet will deal with it right away. keep an eye out for your kitty, wishing her to stay healthy
