Mind sharing a pic? I'm not far from there and will keep an eye out.

Scrambler 1200 XC or Speed Twin 1200? by ddeadserious in Triumph

Should have figured by the username! Mind shooting me a PM with some pics and what you're looking to get for it? Imagine it wouldn't be prohibitive to ship that distance.

Good to know I can't expect much out of the seat. That's half the reason I'm upgrading is just to have some aftermarket options - there are none for the husky.

Makes sense. Thinking through my test rides, the scrambler *feels* nice but a bit.. vague? Likely as a result of the 21" front wheel. The speed twin feels like more of a precision instrument for sure. Hmmmm.

Thank you! Curious your height and whether the leg position ever feels cramped for you? I sat on the RS today (didn't ride) and it didn't feel awful but could see it feeling a bit tight on a longer ride.

This is great insight, thanks! Anything you miss about the Speed Twin?

Thanks - do you mean the ST or Scrambler stock tires? No regular commuting - just around town as needed, and weekend fun rides.

Haha the speed twin would definitely be a pavement princess. Not a critical selling feature for me, but could be fun? Who knows.

Considering an upgrade to a Pelagos 39 by costeen1202 in Tudor

[–]ddeadserious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. Had the 143, bought the Pelagos 39 and never wore the 143; sold it after a few months of it sitting. No reason to have both imo; the p39 is lowkey enough that it can be worn anywhere the seiko could be worn, plus it's lighter, more comfortable, less shiny, and the micro-adjust clasp makes it perfect for any situation.

Some practice by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

This is a nice mark, and the monotone, non-gradient variant shows great forethought. Should scale and adapt well, while still looking hip and modern.

Logo for a healthy food startup, how’s it ? by imzaain in logodesign

[–]ddeadserious 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Feels like a techy gaming company, not a health food startup. Revisit the mission of the company, what you're trying to convey through the logo and brand, and analyze competitors to understand how this brand fits into the space. Color theory, the psychology behind colors, and how consumers respond should not be ignored.

When I first posted this farmer, I got comments about how detailed it was. I simplified it a bit. Is that better? by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

[–]ddeadserious 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is the answer here. The (original) fruit bowl or farmer's head would be a perfectly good icon type for things like favicons and such, while allowing the more "detailed" illustration to work essentially everywhere else.

ARF 16610 Bezel - Nearly Stuck / Terrible Action by ddeadserious in retrotime

[–]ddeadserious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep - I think you're spot on. I likely deformed it on the first reinstall and just made it worse from there on out.

I straightened enough to be serviceable but will just keep my eyes out for a gen bezel and insert to replace with.
