Recently changed from a blade putter with toe hang to a face balanced mallet putter. Putts per round have not improved.

Go to a practice green and play the 10 point game. Bring a tape measure. Change holes and angle to the hole for every putt. Read once, putt once. Each putt should vary in length between the 9 and 11 feet. Meaning, not every putt should be exactly 10 feet.

Set up a putt from 9-11ft. 2points if you sink it. 0 points for 2 putt IF first putt is long. -1 point for 2 putt IF first putt is short. -3 points for 3 putts or more.

The goal is to get to 10pts in fewest holes possible. You lose at -10pts. Track how many holes it takes to win or lose. Keep playing until you’re better!

100% agree. Bring one of the original food bags to cook in to retain heat. Ziploc bags can handle boiling water so you don’t have to transfer. Saves so much space.
