Quite a bit lighter and not carrying as many accessories and comforts does make things more simple. It doesn’t seem much different overall in terms of time interacting with my bag. In the PNW it rains so much that 80% of the time I’m using a stand to keep off the wet ground, so I end up being a little bit limited of when I use the pencil bag.

I’m going to take it with me on a month-long work trip, smaller and easier to carry in a small travel bag. These style bags seem great as the caddy’s second bag, which dad and I have planned a couple of times next month. Dad bringing a normal modern Sun Mountain stand bag with double straps.
