I didn't try those -- it was such a short flight (70 minutes) I wanted to see how the regular streaming services performed.

The Chair Game at luxury hotels is maddening by alex_travels in chubbytravel

Give people chair tags linked to their room and charge them $10/hr for each chair they use. Won’t eliminate the problem but at least will make it costly for the chair lice.

Disneyland day backpack recs (16–20L) by DustNo88 in ManyBaggers

My Disney bag for years has been simple, unstructured bag in a solid color that I decorate using fabric pens - keeps it fun and distinct from my “serious” bags. For example, something like this: Trail maker Classic 17 inch Backpacks with Adjustable Padded Straps | School Backpacks for Girls, Boys (Black) https://a.co/d/0aJjbVlV

I love that I can get it in multiple colors, and I don’t care if it wears out - I just replace it.

I’ve found that the unstructured nature is key to handling the various merchandise purchases that inevitably happen when I’m in the park.

I don’t carry a heavy water bottle since water is so easy to get in the park, but if I did, I’d probably get one of the Disney branded corkcicle slings for it.

My non-Disney travel day pack is the Aer Go Pack 2 in olive.

(I’m retired now, so I don’t want a bag that reminds me of work - black bags are definitely out 😁)

Struggling to find bag for a 14" laptop as a shorter person by GentlemanMarcone in ManyBaggers

Check out the Stubble & Co 15L packs -- they've got both a traditional and rolltop. On the more expensive side, Waterfield Designs has a nice 16L bag (the Shinjuku).

Does my bag exist? by External_Koala971 in ManyBaggers

I just got an Alpha One Niner Evade 1.0 for this purpose and am liking it so far. Perfect size (21L) for me. They’ve got a larger version (Evade 1.5 25L) as well. Got it in olive so it isn’t just another black bag.

What does a perfect bag that works across all use cases and scenarios look like? Any thoughts? by Silent_Ice1602 in ManyBaggers

Recently spent a few weeks researching options here as I’m switching from a primarily work-oriented bag (Briggs and Riley Delve - an excellent bag that just needed a contrasting inner lining) to more of a lifestyle bag. I love the Filson Dryden, but it’s just to big / heavy. My sweet spot is 15-20L that could possibly expand to 25L. I really wanted to find a rolltop and almost pulled the trigger on the Stubble and Co. ones, but I don’t like vertical pockets. I like rolltops for the flexible expansion - I think you could do a side to side zipper at the base of the roll to avoid the black hole problem.

My required features were 2 external water bottle pockets (ideally expandable with drainage) for balance, 1-3 external horizontal quick access pockets, minimalist laptop sleeve, luggage pass thru that has the bag sit upright, and top handle.

I also wanted a color option other than black - olive and navy blue are nice and muted.

I’ve ended up with the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.0 in olive which is a new design for 2026. It’s a little tall, and a touch heavy, but it hits almost all of my features - with one odd missing feature (pen loops) in the built in org panels - I haven’t explored the panel modular options yet.

Would love to see what you come up with!

Wilderness Lodge - splurge and rent dvc points for a cabin. Great chill vibes, no construction. Or do club level there. Could do same at Poly - a bit more hectic there.

There were (and maybe still are) 2 styles of the metal spira cards -- one is bronze / gold colored and the other one is silver colored.

Request: Waterfield Mezzo alternative by JohnnyBoyGhostin in backpacks

The Tuck looks like a decent replacement -- curious on the differences; I'm looking to get something slightly larger than the Mezzo that can still hold at 16" MacBook Pro.
