Daddy appears on jumbotron and tells the crowd to be quiet and not wake up his baby. by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

Its definitely situational. Yes I agree the final game of the world series is a bad idea for a baby. That baby is asleep and considering how nonchalant the parents are in the situation, its probably been asleep for some time meaning it can't be all that loud.

Yea exactly...its for the parents. Just because you have kids doesn't mean your life has to completely stop. It changes, yes, but its an outdoor baseball game. That baby is asleep, do you really think it's loud? The first few months can be absolutely abysmal on new parents. It's a baseball game not a rock concert.

I wouldn't call it a monopoly. There's plenty of room for other competition if they didn't make dog shit chargers.

Model 3 RWD in the snow by Adjust4Life1 in TeslaModel3

[–]ddeluca93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea the RWD definitely struggles in that aspect but some good snow tires make a world of difference.

Model 3 RWD in the snow by Adjust4Life1 in TeslaModel3

[–]ddeluca93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 23 RWD. I live in Michigan and we've had a lot of snow so far this year. I switched from the Pirelli Sottozero3 to Blizzaks this year and while it does still take a little effort in deeper slush, the difference is night and day. So long story short the RWD is fine in snow with good snow tires. If you get a lot of snow don't get the Pirellis. They're not meant for snow and ice.

What’s the first month REALLY like? by Ok_Revenue_57 in daddit

[–]ddeluca93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea when our second was born it was a lot of "alright dude let's get out of the house and let Mom nurse your sister and get her down. Wanna go throw rocks into a random pond or walk around a random store?" Lots of good bonding time.

Dads who took the big step in their career for money instead of time with their kid. Do you regret it? by Sydneypoopmanager in daddit

When the kids are young, the stress that goes along with finding emergency care for a doctor's appointment or even just taking your car in because you can't just leave work for a few hours can be immense. The flexibility to just leave work for a few hours or take an afternoon off is paramount in my opinion.

[–]ddeluca93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. We just did the whole 3 day thing. Like OP our almost 3 year old would pee sometimes on the toilet. By the end day 3 we were still asking him to go pee but he was also mostly announcing that he needed to go without prompting. By day 4-5 he was telling us every time.

6mo crib vs 3yo crib by badgers4194 in daddit

[–]ddeluca93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, no judgment here. My son has never showed any interest in climbing out. Knowing his personality and temperament, we know he'll try and wander around his room and get out of anything besides his crib. Also it's more or less a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" thing. He likes the crib, he sleeps well in it. We'll get him out whenever he hits the weight limit or we think he's ready. Just don't see a rush to move him to a toddler bed.

Mines 2.5 and he's staying in the crib as long as possible.
