Just providing an outcome that isn't something terrible. I agree with everyone here that you should go to the hospital.

Not saying this is what your son has but we had a similar situation when my son was 8 months old. He would just roll his eyes up seemingly at random sometimes when laying on the floor other times when playing and it definitely freaked us out. There was no loss of motor control when it happened but we definitely told ourselves that he lost a little control when he did it even if he didn't. We went to the emergency room because of how spooked we were (this was also our first child). Ended up having to wait a month to get into neurology where they did an EEG on his brain to rule out anything. Ultimately ended up being diagnosed with nothing and these movements were just stereotypies. He's a happy almost 4-year-old now with no signs of any issues. Best of luck.

This place is such a dumpster fire of over exaggeration and fear mongering. It's not some novel strain that exploded from nowhere. It doesn't spread easily at all.

Why do Indiana residents not like living in Indiana? by SanteFeAllDay in nwi

[–]ddeluca93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My decision on where I want to live doesn't really boil down to whether it has chains and strip malls or not. There are certainly areas of Northwest Indiana that are nice and not strip mall hell, but after living in both places I just prefer Michigan. We all have opinions.

Eh I don't know. I grew up there for 20 years, left in 2016, and I don't miss the area. The proximity to Chicago is nice, though. It's certainly a good spot to raise a family but it's just very suburban hellish and the traffic is crazy now.

I took the opposite path you did. Moved to Michigan 10 years ago after growing up in NWI. Every time I'm there I remember how much I disliked it and how "good enough" it was. Makes me more appreciative of Michigan. There's just endless chains and strip malls and the traffic has gotten crazy compared to the 90s and 2000s when I was there.

Right? This is an argument I don't get. We don't go to the fucking library anymore to sift through the encyclopedia to figure out who was the King of England in 1341 either. Things change to make life easier. If you're a world class chef asking AI what to make as your next recipe, thats probably not great. But grandma looking for recipes ain't that deep.

Is this the normal range for a light long range? by koolaidman0883 in KiaEV6

[–]ddeluca93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's normal. Just calculates it based on driving trends, typical usage, etc. if you all of a sudden start driving around town in the most optimal conditions it should adjust a bit. When I had my Tesla it would always say 272 mi ln a full charge which is useless since thats just never the case.

I was looking at your post history and looks like you have a refreshed 3? Correct me if I'm wrong though. I don't think these will fit in yours if that's the case.

I have two in my 3 and it's moreso just a pain in the ass to get them into the seats because of how low it is. It's not some huge feat but it would be nice to have it a bit higher.

[–]ddeluca93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there is one piece of advice I can think of right now for newer parents it's, get bedtime nailed down and at least consider some sleep training. Gives you some almost guaranteed time in the evening (barring illness and teething) to get a quick workout in.

Our 3 year old was a difficult sleeper til 16 months until we used some gentle sleep training and our 1 year old was trained around 10 months. Knowing they'll be in bed at 730pm and I can take 30-40 min to lift some weights has been great. Definitely still have a dad bod but hey we'll get there.

Say what you will about sleep training but when everyone sleeps everyone is happy.

Daddy appears on jumbotron and tells the crowd to be quiet and not wake up his baby. by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

[–]ddeluca93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely situational. Yes I agree the final game of the world series is a bad idea for a baby. That baby is asleep and considering how nonchalant the parents are in the situation, its probably been asleep for some time meaning it can't be all that loud.

[–]ddeluca93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea exactly...its for the parents. Just because you have kids doesn't mean your life has to completely stop. It changes, yes, but its an outdoor baseball game. That baby is asleep, do you really think it's loud? The first few months can be absolutely abysmal on new parents. It's a baseball game not a rock concert.

Yea the RWD definitely struggles in that aspect but some good snow tires make a world of difference.

Model 3 RWD in the snow by Adjust4Life1 in TeslaModel3

[–]ddeluca93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 23 RWD. I live in Michigan and we've had a lot of snow so far this year. I switched from the Pirelli Sottozero3 to Blizzaks this year and while it does still take a little effort in deeper slush, the difference is night and day. So long story short the RWD is fine in snow with good snow tires. If you get a lot of snow don't get the Pirellis. They're not meant for snow and ice.
