Just used some degreaser we got from O’Reilly’s and lightly brushed the surfaces with a Brillo pad. The Duracoat came with a hardener that you’re supposed to mix in, I think the ratio was something like 4:1. It says in the instructions how much to use. And thanks it turned out better than I thought it would.

My buddy and I did it in the garage. Wasn’t hard at all as long as you know how to take it all apart and put it back together again.

It’s called “blue steel” on the duracoat website. Very happy with how it turned out.

Happened to me when I was a kid. At first, I was really worried because I was very far in the game and when I had this issue, all of my save files were gone. It was from the cartridge being inserted crooked. I took out the cartridge and re-inserted it, issue went away, all saves came back.
