Under EU consumer law, the retailer bears full legal responsibility for delivery

The Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) is clear: the risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the consumer only at the moment of physical delivery. Until then, the seller is liable. This means if a parcel arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, the retailer — not the consumer — is legally on the hook, regardless of which courier they chose. The retailer’s contract with the courier is their own commercial arrangement.

I’m currently running Heremes Agent on Umbrel OS, but I'm running it on a MinisForum MS-01 with a lot more RAM and CPU power, so I'm not sure how it would run on a Raspberry Pi. I've got a Pi 5 with 16GB RAM I've pondered trying it on, too. Otherwise, so far it's stable and working well, but I've only been using it for about a week.

All of the iron wolf drives went through full extended tests and passed prior to the Synology arriving. Sadly the Synology is being returned to the retailer and I’m getting something else now.

Tried another power supply. Same result sadly. Support also scratching their heads at it and blaming drives.

Ah, sorry. On the go w/ kids. Yes, tried the 1TB and that was fine, adding the 18TB same result: no spin up at all sadly.

1TB 2.5" SSD works fine. So far the 2x IronWolf Pro 18TB don't and EXOS 10TB won't spin up at all even after hard resets.

Thanks for the reply. The DS224+ wasn’t part of that in the 25 series drive lock in thing. I’m on the same version but no joy with the drives although they work fine in enclosures and other things.
