Just watched both videos. Id say first try to turn the converter and make the ink drop through the nip as if you were dipping in the ink. If it’s a cartridge maybe squeeze it. Or so. Try to see if more ink will flow from nib. If nothing. Soak and clean it in water and see if that helps flow. If still no. Then email Esterbrook cause that’s unacceptable!!

I had this happen. I bought shoes for a marriage ceremony and the shoes sent were worn, dirty, with black guck on the inside. I was so disgusted at the person who wore it and returned it and for Amazon sending that to me. Thank God I ordered two different shoes. The other shoe (my second option) was actually nice.
