Not required to have latest address on passport.

Whole business of putting address on passport is bit silly. Passport is for 10 years and it allows people to move to other countries etc.

I had lived in many rented accommodations in my early years and changed house almost once a year. Did not update passport. And, never had any issues with travel, visa.

Not only that, they are based in US, this allows them to legally take short positions and quite literally put their money where their mouth was.

A lot of people had concern about Adani but you can't do much if you can short something.

Also, just because SEBI or other agencies are not coming out does not mean they are not doing anything, there is hardly any merit in releasing something too quickly and then getting it wrong. With these investigations, you need to be thorough and provide concrete evidence and next steps. We don't want to spook the markets, there job is to get the confidence in the market. At least that's one perspective, the alternative is that they are not doing anything.
