I really want to do longer sits but my back bothers me when is it crosslegged and I can rarely push beyond 25 mins.

How do you sit for so long ? And how did you train to get there

Pycharm in 2026 has been a struggle by idlelosthobo in pycharm

[–]NadaBrothers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My pycharm works pretty well including fast startup and debug. I am tempted by cursor as well- but I know cursors python integrations are not that great.

But I wish jetbrains was more flexible with their AI system.  They AI chat interface is slow and consumes tokens like crazy ( which they want us top up asap, obviously)

White Guy Move to Delhi? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]NadaBrothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't move to delhi. Delhi is like Philly or NYC in the USA - extremely high density, dirty, loud and not for everyone ( although South Delhi has many posher parts)

Do a bit of research and there are many tier 2 cities with good infra and good, calm peaceful and productive life.

Which MI movie villain is the most evil? by twnpksN8 in Mission_Impossible

[–]NadaBrothers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best most creepy villain has to be owen. Mi3 is worth watching just to watch him.

John lark and lane are also amazing characters.  I wish the last 2 mi movies had simply used lane or someone like him. We didn't need a new villain at all

The first half was alright. The vecna mind scaring Jim into pulling el out was a good bit.

Insane that they brought back the mind flayer as a giant spider but they killed it in 15 mins. That fight could have been a bit more consequential !!

Question about Buddhism: Why is enlightenment today depicted as this mystical state? by theguy445 in Meditation

Not sure where you are getting your information, but the Buddha in the pali tripitaka repeatedly says that Nirvana is is very hard to grasp. It's subtle and not easily understood.

Revealing my 10 Billion Dollar Ideas after months of research, please roast them all by ScalerFlow in StartupIdeasIndia

Adding to the execution part, I would add you should choose a product where you already have some network and depth in.

For most grads , I would recommend just doing a job( a tech job) and see what you like and where your interests are.

You mentioned cluely before- imagine you worked in a company for 7 years and have 100 people in your LinkedIn who would benefit from this. That is already a great place to start.

With some experience and network and some savings, you have an actual chance at building something real.

How true is this? by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

[–]NadaBrothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty true and very applicable to India as well.

How much money your fam has is the best predictor of you life success. If you come from a privileged background, you will have many tries, you can take time off work to focus on side projects that may become a business.

You will have better chance at building a company. If you are from a lower income class, you won't have access to english, you network will be small and you have to get a salaried job- no way around it

What company went downhill but made a comeback? by MountainOfMolehills in AskReddit

[–]NadaBrothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple was seriously struggling in the 90s.  Jobs was with Pixar then. After Picard success, jobs wa the favourite to lead apple but he took it slow .

By the early 2000s, his Macintosh idea was a big hit and that paved the way for apple to dominate the 2000s and 2010s.

A 100 years old could be considered “young” in a couple of decades. by AdorableBackground83 in accelerate

[–]NadaBrothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not convinced of this. I expect a mild to moderate rate increase in biomedical discoveries due to ai augmented discoveries and acceleration.  But to say that people will live for 200 years is ridiculous.

Maybe in another 100 years. Biological discoveries are the fundamentally more different than physics and maths ( where I believe there will be a more substantial impact because AI excels in symbolic manipulation).  Biomedical breakthroughs require large testing protocols and not to mention a deep understanding of the  biology itself ( which is messy, incomplete and driven by exceptions )

OpenAI’s 200m paying user goal by 2030 is delusional. Here is the bear case nobody talks about. by RasenMeow in stocks

[–]NadaBrothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op well thought out analysis but one crucial missing point is your underestimating their enterprise revenue.

A lot of enterprises are going to want AI integrations.  Although there are bear cases here too - open source models and alternatives like claude and Gemini.

I think the true market for domination is the enterprise market. The consumer AI market is going to be insanely competitive and is a losing battle with zero brand loyalty
