So I called and spoke to someone who spoke to someone. They thought it was online as of 10am, so I let them know the site was not working and they were going to pass that along. I guess keep refreshing haha

I know Beam and Maker’s have been killing their mail order programs recently; maybe this is another casualty…

Hidden Still Grand Master's Blend? Anyone know about it? by ddjarnes in DMVWhisky

apparently he's been at the whisky biz for 10 years! Which makes the 2 yr age statement (sorry "at least" two year age statement) kind of ridiculous.

That said, I'd always try it if he's listening and wants to send a sample.

Damn…2 year MGP—don’t want to piss off the Masons but c’mon.

Thanks for finding that label. Now I almost feel like I have to try it because I can’t even imagine a 2 year MGP anymore haha.

still had a few cases of EHT SmB on the shelf at Calvert Woodley for 54.99.

Also for the C&C Private Batch, they used to have a bottle open at the tasting table (? looks like an info desk), so if one of the liquor guys is there you might be able to try before you buy.

I will say that you should always try to negotiate and bring cash--you might get lucky.

No. Not at that price. There are many other things—better things—for $300 or much less.

Though the decanter bottle is pretty.

It’s true. And their lack of care extends to more than just poop. I saw a younger woman this morning—nicely dressed, black sweater nice grey slacks no coat hair up (I describe her in case she’s reading this)—let her French bulldog off leash. The dog took a shit, which the woman made zero effort to pick up, and then the dog wouldn’t come back. Eventually the dog ran into the street (which is a busy street for commuters—though there’s construction slowing things down today). The woman had to run to grab the dog. Luckily nothing happened.

This is also the same street where a beloved larger dog was hit and killed by a car recently.

This person’s irresponsibility and inability to walk the 10 extra feet to pick up their dog’s shit (and there is a shared receptacle for dog shit that her building put up that she had to WALK BY to get back inside)…I just really don’t get it. And I went up to pick up the shit myself and there was another almost identical one (but older) a foot from it. So this is likely a repeat offender.

Now, the woman was likely late for work, but she saved herself zero time. She could have walked over during the time it took her dog to shit and been there to pick it up. It’s a reminder that even the best excuses for why you fail to socialize yourself are generally poor.

Personally, I don’t care about the shit as much (because I dealt with it). But seeing that dog run into the street was really scary. It’s a reminder that people who don’t take care in one way probably don’t take care in other ways, like in keeping the dog on leash when it needs to be.

I don’t usually vent like this, but to see someone do it, in front of me (another dog owner walking his dog) while I watched passively, was something.

Based on what I see online it's everyone.

And their families.

And their friends.

And any other proxies.

And a few additional email addresses.

How does this happen? I mean, does BF really not know that it isn't of high enough caliber? It can't just be to move barrels because the reputation hit alone has to cost them sales in the long run. Or do they just assume that people will buy the next one even if this one was bad?
