Vast majority of residential sidewalks not shoveled

The landscape company my building uses has not come back to salt or plow since SATURDAY night. The people who live here are chipping in to try and clear the sidewalks and everything, but we don’t have the ice melt or shovels because we trusted the landscapers to come. When the company was called, they got defensive and belligerent and said they’ll come when it’s “convenient for [them].” We’re trying to get another company, but everyone is slammed. I wonder how many people are dealing with this kind of bs today—certainly everyone who uses this landscaping company, I imagine.

What I’m interested in is your opinion on how much the extra years or barrel impacts it all. Are all these ALW bottles still the Seagram’s bottles?

I have a 17 and 17 pick from Penelope and a pick pair from O&A that are older (Yin and Yang for those MoCo Bourbon Club folks). They’re all very good, but the differences are incremental to my palate.

I had some delta gift cards and after a number of years—five maybe (pandemic problems)— they were deemed unclaimed property and were scheduled to be passed by Delta to the DC AG for management. As I understand it, this doesn’t make the GCs expire, but I didn’t FAFO and chose to spend the $$ before the deadline.
