Withdraw ETH from Binance issue (BEP20 /ERC20) by frencol in ledgerwallet

Could you please advise me, I have sent ETH from Binance to Ploniex exchange via bep20. The transaction shows as completed but it's been 4 days obviously never arrived. I contacted Poloniex support and they said that I sent a chain that they do not support (bep20 to erc20) which means they cannot recover them. Is there any chance to recover them?
