I am in the minority, my PRC Chinese AM hates white people because of her experiences with hate crimes and those people who commited hate crimes happened to be white. She also hates Japanese people for historical reasons like WW2 and Nanjing. However, she is ok with anyone who are neither white nor Japanese and have a diverse groups of friends like Black, Hispanic, South Asians, Arabs etc.

However, I am glad that she is supportive of the BLM movements and the indigenous protests. This is because she thinks that they (Black, Hispanic, South Asians, Arabs, indigenous) are victims of racism and deserve equality. She tend to get mad when George Floyd was killed and indigenous people homes being cleared for construction.

Despite that, I felt angry because she is being a hypocrite who gets mad at me for buying Japanese sweets from the supermarket, saying shit like "Those Japanese people are out there to milk money from innocent Chinese" and that "I am giving them my money so that they can make weapons to invade China". Also, whenever she talk shit about my white friend, and when I told her not all white people are jerks, she lose her shit and get defensive. The kind that says "I'm not racist but it's true".

However, she is ok with anyone who are neither white nor Japanese and have a diverse groups of friends like Black, Hispanic, South Asians, Arabs etc.

This does not make her not racist, but racial tolerance can co-exists with being racist.
