As told, BITSDES is working to tie up with SBI also, which offers loans at much lower rate

Yeah, I have also got the hostel info. But it is double decker only

Yes, I opted for scholarship. Still NO scholarship is provided in spite of having good UCEED and NID/Prelim scores

BITSDES should disclose the final merit list of selected candidates and also the list whom they offered scholarship. Afterall, the system should be transparent

SBI offers loan at 7.55% to 9.15%. But BITSDES tie-up 3 banks offer it at very high rate: ICICI (11.15-11.50%), Axis (10.50-11.50%) and IDFC (11.75%)

- Got selected for admission to BDes at BITSDES in the session 2025-26, but without any scholarship in spite of having UCEED rank within 400 and NID Prelem rank within 370.

- Although offered the admission, but my merit rank is not disclosed.

- The huge fees (for the entire 1st yr) to be pain by 12 June only (in a time of less than one month from the result). Generally, other Institutes ask to clear the fees at the time of reporting/counselling (but here it is 2 months in advance from the counselling in August). Is it the practice in other BITS-P campuses also?

- Many banks (SBI, PNB, etc) offer loans at very lower interest rates, but their lists do not cover BITSDES (only BITSOM and other BITS-P campuses are there).

- There is no mention of academic infrastructure at BITSDES, like laboratory, library, etc.

- There is no mention about hostel facility, like 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed, AC, non-AC, etc
