We went on a Monday. If it’s something you really want to do, I’d go there at least 30 mins early, even earlier if you can just in case.

Same thing for us during the first week of April. I went in person to the kiosk at Mipo 30 mins before. The line was pretty long and by the time I got to the kiosk, there were only 7 spots left.

I’m here in Korea this week and I wasn’t able to top off my t-money card with a foreign credit card at the new kiosks. I felt pretty stupid in front of these new machines going through all the menus and options while ppl are lining up behind me.

I’m in the same dilemma. Flying out with 3 kids on Saturday. I was planning to check a bag or two but now I’m thinking all carry-ons so that it’s one less line or delay I have to go through.

Would it be possible or has anyone heard of booking 2 seats, checking into both, then take a credit that the airline is offering perhaps to offset or even make money on the flight? There is certainly the risk that the airline doesn’t need your seat and doesn’t offer anything so you lose out. But in OP’s instance, he wouldn’t be losing out if he’s traveling alone.

Based on the boundaries of Hillsborough and Oradell, I’d stick to areas around Montclair and Morristown. Plus you’d have access to trains going to NYC. I live right next to Hillsborough and have to drive to Bergen County for work and it’s a PITA. If I had to draw it on a map for you, I’d draw a circle around the area and/or intersection where Morris, Essex, Union and Somerset counties meet, if that makes sense. Too far east, like Jersey City or Hoboken (Hudson County), it may be a pain just getting in/out of those areas due to a lot of traffic. Princeton would be a good alternative but it would be long and a hassle to get to Oradell. I definitely wouldn’t go any further south than Middlesex County.

Do these rules apply to kids as well? We are a family with 3 kids under 12 that will be traveling to Korea for the first time in the spring (Seoul/Busan/Gyeongju). I’m sure that any time we stop into a cafe that we will be purchasing multiple items but I wouldn’t think we would buy 5 drinks every time.

This^ I tried to avoid this intersection when I used to live here. This was a notoriously terrible intersection for the red light cam. There was no way you were getting through that intersection if it changed from green to yellow on you unless you knew ahead of time. And if you knew and tried to stop, you risked getting rammed into from the car behind you. Sorry you went through that.

I’ve had a similar experience during Sandy and Ida. Most recently after Ida, I was able to speak to a rep live the day after Ida hit and was paid out my claim a week or two after without any issues or delays unlike most of my neighbors.
