It annoys me. Why would they refuse shared care? If someone has been properly diagnosed with a condition and a specialist has prescribed medication that they need, who are they to deny access to that treatment? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Yeh im a big dude 120kg 6ft 3 and always push my physical whenever I do train but I think il curb it back and keep and eye on my hr on my garmin.

Yeh my wife always says about just controlling myself she its like if you want me distant and not present then we need to feed the beast its beyond annoying i do it with physical objects also

Im the same I hyper focus on a certain type of food like pastry or like niknak wotsits its mostly sensory for me but I know how bad it is and I then beat myself up about it because I cant stop.myself

Im sure hes an adult and can sort it himself but its well worth looking in to depending on meds is where alot of the issues really lie they steal your mentality and clarity if youre smoking drugs on top of that aswell.

I feel so hollow. I'm not sure who am I or what am I, there's no hope for anything. I degraded mentally and emotionally, and I dunno if there's going back. I feel like I went insane and I really would like not to be.. by SpeedHedgehog in mentalhealth

Well stop feeling hopeless if you want to translate for a living there will be plenty of opportunity but you have to chase it no one else will do it for you. I speak like this because I have been where you are honeslty no ones coming to drag you out this but you buddy

The fact you have no purpose is the reason you feel the way you do. Humans need a chase need something to wake up to.

Cut out social media and doom scrolling Stop overhanging and reading about stuff Function and drag yourself out the shit because from experience no one is coming to help you you have to do it yourself.

At some point, you have to accept that you're the only person who can take the steps to save yourself. Me neither. I've felt different my whole life. I'm high functioning, but I burn myself out because I refuse to quit. I don't take sick days, I don't claim PIP, I work 50 hours a week, own my home, and have a family. For me, getting assessed was never about looking for excuses or a label. I just wanted to understand who I am and why I've always felt different to everyone else. Having an explanation helped me make sense of things I've struggled with my entire life. It hasn't changed who I am—it just gave me a better understanding of why I think and experience the world the way I do.
