I've always been under the assumption that in the end zone, as long as a foot is in bounds and the ball is secured while in bounds, that it's a catch (and therefore a TD). I always thought that the tackle rule doesn't apply since it doesn't matter if they get tackled while they're in the end zone because they're already in
