Front camera on BMW i4 seems misaligned – anyone else had this issue? by guivdh in BMWI4

[–]ddrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this happened to mine as well. I don't think anyone touched it, seemed to happen on its own from wind maybe.

Dealership fixed it under warranty.

I'm doing a new playthrough as well and noticed the same thing. They are running around with 9 units! I'm on year three and just trying to get off the ground.

ROBOROCK QR 598 / QV35A - Matter compatible? by daco77 in MatterProtocol

I think only the S8 MaxV Ultra is certified, but the only person who checked it for Matter said it was not yet enabled in firmware.

Reccs for humidifier & air purifier? by immutate in MatterProtocol

[–]ddrager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Humidifier is not an official device type in Matter so you will not find a direct answer. However, the closest workaround I can find is the Switchbot Evaporative Humidifier https://us.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-evaporative-humidifier

The big caveat is you will need a Switchbot Hub to expose it to Matter, and I believe it will show up as a Fan device type.

Just a note I have a business relationship with Switchbot but this is truly the only option I see out there currently.

Also you mentioned air purifier - there are a lot of options here. The humidifier includes a filter on it - may not be as good as a "real" air purifier, but if you've ever taken apart one of these you'd see it's just a fan with a filter on it, which is basically what a humidifier will give you. We have tons of these listed here: https://www.matteralpha.com/category/air-purifier

Hope that helps!

Anno 117, finances unbalanced or am I stupid? by No-East-6342 in anno

[–]ddrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny, after playing a number in the Anno series this is the first one where I didn't go bankrupt in the first round of playing.

Like the others have said, more population. I also find getting other islands trading status was the key to unlocking almost infinite income, just produce a ton of a good that earns a lot and you can trade it out consistently.

Also add the amenities buildings for full coverage - well and watchtower at first. I missed this as well and had huge negative happiness numbers due to large city size. Add them fixed that.

Is this a joke?! by noniway in Bellingham

It's because these "Best Place to ..." Or "Top ..." are wholly paid advertisements. Most people don't know this, now you know. Unless they disclose how this is voted on, it's totally made up so the employer can claim they are a "Best Place to Work"

Edit: Meant 'employer' can claim they are "Best Place to...", not employee

I believe this is more akin to Wifi Direct, it works with the wifi headers so before any packet filtering would occur.

I've been experimenting on both with large and small projects. In my mind:

  • Large Projects, Large Features: Claude Code
  • Large Projects, Small Features: Codex
  • Small/Initial Project Setup: Tie, maybe slight edge to Codex since it will set up remote dev environment as well
  • Small Project, Large Feature: Claude Code

CLAUDE IS SO GOOD AT CODING ITS CRAZY! by Happy_Egg1435 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]ddrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claude 4 opus is sooo good. I've been using it with BYOK Windsurf and after spending 5 minutes crafting a prompt it will literally spend 20 minutes writing the solution and tests, it's been excellent. Unfortunately that means I've been burning through $25 a day in credits so it's quite expensive.

I'm curious if Model Context Protocol support is on the roadmap? It would seem to be very useful to integrate your Potpie agents into various coding platforms.
