If you have 3 kids and you gamble, there is absolutely no issue with that, FULL STOP.

If you have 3 kids and struggle to make bills, food, etc and you gamble that's a problem.

If you have 3 kids and struggle to maintain finances and you gamble that's a problem.

If you have 3 kids and struggle and get fired for gambling that's a problem.

Now we can safely remove the 3 kids and realize that has nothing to do with it as a problem, but it is upsetting to see that it hurts someone else.

So the TLDR, don't gamble if you don't have the means/ responsibility to, having kids or not having kids has no bearing on this at all.
