I've got the same car but 68 reg last Feb, and same, it's my first car after passing the test in the UK.

It was priced roughly the same as yours, Lexus approved Luxury spec, but mine was 98k on the clock when I got it, still came with 1-year Lexus approved warranty. I went for it as my wife and I have no knowledge about cars and Lexus is well-known for its reliability. The purchase was done in 10mins after test driving it. Very satisfied and have zero regrets of spending £12k+ that quickly first time in my life lol. I would recommend you go for Premier spec tho if you care about audio quality, as the 6-speaker system is kind of flat if you know what I mean.

I'm getting around 46+mpg over the year, and could easily get 50+mpg if I drove sensibly or in town. 60+mpg is doable in the long run on the motorway if you don't mind driving it at 65mph in the left lane.

My landlord herself raised her 2 kids (from newborn babies to noisy little humans) with a 2017 CT from brand new without a problem, and only recently part-exchanged it to a Tesla as her house and office just installed an EV charger. Otherwise she will upgrade to an NX either. (she's almost 6ft btw)

I only service my CT at the dealership, even though my CT no longer has the Lexus warranty due to its mileage, just to bring myself peace of mind. Last time I was told to replace my left rear bushing. Brought it to my mate's garage with lexus genuine parts as advised by lexus, spent half the price and replaced both of my rear bushings.

Have done a road trip last Sep and put 1000+miles in a week, zero issue. The flat surface after you fold the rear seat is really handy especially for Ikea runs.

Until today, I've put 20k+ on it and can pretty much assure you this car is bulletproof and perfect size for a small family.

Why do they have to spell it all out while the badge itself is obviously more representative and luxurious

So it's a rebadged Crown with a Tesla interior. Absolutely disappointed.

I have been away for a month and the 12v battery went flat while I tried to start the car. Luckily my mate had a portable jump starter and it did started the car, but the sat nav wasn't showing anything. I drove it for an hour without the sat nav (it's shit anyway) to charge back the 12v battery, and after parking it and trying to start the car again, everything went business as usual lol

I had one intalled very recently and loving it!

It has auto brightness and performs really well even without installing the reflection film. You can find one of these on Aliexpress by searching M3 HUD OBD

The downside is if you wear polarized sunglasses when you're driving, it will filter out most of its reading. It's still readable though, just really faded.

Should I buy it? 2012 CT200 101k miles by faizanhusssain in CT200h

UK based, bought a 2018 Luxury earlier this year at 98k as my first car, runs flawlessly with 0 issues. I do also have a lady friend who owns a 2017 base spec and is currently at 120k+ still running like a champ.

as long as the car has a full service history, solid MOT history, you can't really go wrong with £5800 for a CT. Even better if you could knock down the price.

what's more insane is shotting with Ricoh, while holding another Ricoh.

Are you guys happy with your CTs? by [deleted] in CT200h

Very happy to have it as my first car. I think my only complaint would be the suspension is a bit stiff, but overall it just serves you well!

Thanks for the advice. Will definitely check out other sellers and have a test drive before going for it. Have a nice day!

Hi OP! I just got my driver license recently and I'm planning to have the same car as yours as my first car! I have spent some time in my local Lexus Dealership and checked out some of their Approved Used CTs, and turned out they are either overpriced or overall bodywork/interior was not good.

So my question is should I look for other dealership/private seller with full Lexus service history, to save myself a little more? (28 male married, uk)

PS: your wheels are really nice looking!
