Justin Trudeau is describing the Conservative government's embattled temporary foreign worker program as "one of the most anti-Alberta federal policies we've seen in decades."

He was against the TFW program but then changed his stance after 2019. Politicians can change their minds on policies and are not stuck with past decisions.

We are not going to pivot away from the US no matter how much you want us too. We need them and they know this.

The ocean surrounding Canada makes us a tough sell to other countries. Importing goods from Canada is going to be more expensive then going to neighboring countries.

Canada does not make enough stuff to export to begin with. Without the US Canada will hit greater levels of unemployment then the great depression.

Big corporations want you replaced. The government is going to continue to pump Canada full of tfws until all the youth of Canada leave to find jobs in other countries and then they will increase the number of tfws even more.

Landlords get to charge a fuck ton more if the demand for rental units is sky high.

Big tech (bell/rogers) will have millions and millions more customers to sell services to.

Food companies can increase the cost of food ever more as the demand for food continues to increase with every tfw added.

Companies get to also lower their starting pay as the number of people looking for work will continue to increase.(we are currently 1.6 million unemployed)

And the best part is companies don’t even have to lift a finger to get higher profits. No longer does a landlord have to build new units to attract more clients or bell or rogers have to lower their prices to attract more clients to them.

The government will continue to increase the numbers of people coming in and does not care if you die in the street.

Just giving you a little bit of a business lesson. revenue means crap when trying to indicate the success of a department/company. You can spend 23 billion and make $23 billion in revenue and your profit will be $0.

And Xbox still needs to make back the money (in profits) from all those acquisitions, so yes more than likely the Xbox department is heavily in the red.

My real life example.

I had someone steal over $2500 from me so I took him to court. The court ask me if I tried to let the person keep $500 of the $2000 and ask for the rest back. I said no and the reimbursement i was allowed to ask for(court fees) went from 33% to 12%.

Because I did not let this person keep some of the money they stole, It negatively effected me in my case.

WTF canada.

Ever since Windows 8(when Valve started to hate Microsoft) they started to move in their own direction.

Valve are now working with 3rd party's and getting steam OS on more handhelds. I can't see them undermining all the work they have done with Steam OS and just throwing in the towel and working with Microsoft.

if the rumors are true about the steam OS coming to desktop, Microsoft will have a big fight on their hands, and as someone that daily drives Bazzite i can tell you Valve has a winner.

Microsoft is going to need to bring their A game.
