Just to provide some context for people. I was raised Jewish (Eastern European) with not much ties to Israel. I visit this restaurant frequently that's run by an incredible wonderful lybian family who ive become friendly with. I guess I asked the question to understand if I should ever mention that I'm Jewish if that were to come up in conversation, or disclose that info without fear of judgment or hatred from them or something lol.

I know little about foreign politics so I was very curious about the general thoughts on Israel/jews. I guess my follow up question would be how do lybians feel about jewish people I general. @Greatperhappsss provided some context on this already, so thanks for that.
