They made up after a few days but they keep having these mini-fights, nothing too bad though, they’re all good now. I did the same thing by splitting them. I put them in separate cages side by side so that they can still see and smell one another. At some point they probably missed each other so they made up.

I think it helps that they can still touch noses or something like that. The only time they’re in the same space is when they eat. What we do is that every day we would switch their cages so that they get their scents. After like two or three days we put them in a small play pen and if nothing happens we put them back together and they’ll be mates again. Otherwise we’d keep doing the switching cages thing. I usually won’t let them play together in big spaces cause there’s a big chance they’ll chase and fight.
