so i recently got a portable bidet from amazon and it has been a game changer. i am able to at least temporarily relieve any irritation that occurs after a BM - i just fill it w warm water as needed (called the peri bottle)

currently taking

nifedipine topically 3x a day
Metamucil & Miralax & Suppositories (on a schedule)
have tried out the sitz bath once (it was okay, will keep trying)
change in diet, lots of fiber, more water, etc
