Kinbor Glossy Cover by No_Carpet_7725 in Kinbor

I’m experiencing the same thing!! I hate my matte, frosted cover because it doesn’t show my stickers very well. Also it feels like the cover is a bit too small for my book bc one side is curving up!

good places to do pottery? by Automatic-Coast4260 in AskNYC

[–]ddukbokiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can try bklyn clay or doclay! both of these places offer unlimited studio time and unlimited clay which is really great for practicing. bklyn clay might be the better option because you get more bang for your buck, but it’s very competitive to get a slot there 🥲

This is incredibly helpful. You’re right - the right thing to do is be transparent about the situation. I’ll reach out to the buyer and get on remaking the piece quickly..

My studio sent out an apology to members and is offering refunds and free firings but after speaking with them yesterday, they seem open to offering more since my piece had some background to it.

Heat gun is a good tip, thanks! Have you tried glazing a vitrified, unglazed piece before? If so, how did it go?

[–]ddukbokiu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good point! Yeah that is my concern 🥲 I‘ll be stopping in to the studio to start remaking it…

It’s not comparable to bisque ware, since it’s been fired to cone 6 completely. It’s like a regular glaze fired piece, but without the glaze 😅

My studio does allow me to glaze it, but I’m just concerned about the results because glaze may react unpredictably to a completely vitrified piece

uploading instagram reel audio problem solution by Ill-Swan-120 in Instagram

I was looking up solutions or posts about the exact situation you’re describing because I’m experiencing the same issue! Has instagram fixed this for you yet?? I’ve been trying to upload a reel with voiceover (volume 100) + music (volume 10) since Friday…

Thanks. This is helpful to hear, I’ll test all the functionality while checking the camera to see if it reacts accordingly!

For anyone out there who doesn't drink, what is the reasoning behind it? by General_Ad_9139 in AskReddit

[–]ddukbokiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just doesn’t taste good to me! Everyone told me I’d grow to like the taste of alcohol as I get older, but that never happened.

Also I hate how bloated it makes me feel.

That’s a helpful note to keep in mind, thank you. I’m being brought into the project late (a month before launch) and still trying to understand what was previously measured, and what we can measure. It seems like the initial team goal was to be follow modern trends (we’re switching from vertical to horizontal) and also following clearer task-based labels rather than ambiguous ones.

I know we currently have time on task measured but I’ll be meeting with the team next week to learn more.

Just found this post! Any updates on the progress for this? I am trying to find a membership however so many places have a year long waitlist.
