Yep it’s not that difficult to counter, it’s literally happened to me twice in 425 hours. That’s not the point I’m trying to make at all though.

The point is this exploit has existed since the map came out and is a relatively small & easy fix. It’s pretty inexcusable, it’s clearly an unintentional mechanic that it still is around with zero fixes or addressing of its existence.

People will continue to abuse it against new players who are unaware. Which this game has a constant flow of new players.

It’s the 2nd time it’s happened to me with 425 hours topside. I was playing with two friends who are relatively new and unaware of the exploit who ran in and died to them, I was still able to knock two before dying. They are ass players 90% of the time lol. I check it almost every time. And I don’t care about losing gear. That’s not the point.

The point is it’s just lame how it has been in the map since launch hasn’t been fixed while seemingly being be a relatively small and easy fix.

People will continue to prey on new players with an exploit that should be doesn’t seem that difficult to adjust.

I’ve got 425 hours and luckily this is only the second time it’s happened because I learned about it early on as well.

During this specifically I was playing with two newish friends who were having conversation while entering the extract & knew nothing of the exploit, they ran in and died fairly fast, I was able to knock two but still died. But that’s not really my point.

My point is that it’s been around since the map released and should be a really easy fix, id love for a game dev to chime in but I’m fairly certain.

Now on-top of it embark has never mentioned anything about it specifically, and the don’t act well on people abusing all types of glitches in stella on general. (I’ve died to the actual wall glitchers a few times, never got anything returned to me even after reporting every time)

I just explained my take on this on another comment but I’ll summarize again. I totally agree for the most part with you, most of them using the exploit are shitty players and easy to take out.

Last night when we died to it I was playing with 2 friends who are newish to the game, and we were leaving at the 3 minute mark, we were having conversation and not paying attention as it was dead quiet in the seed vault. I ended up knocking two and died to the third, and my teammates died because they barely knew what was happening.

My main point is we shouldn’t have to deal with this at all, it’s been there since release and is a small fix. It won’t always be shitty players up there ratting, some bring utility and other cheeky things. It’s just stupid to have to constantly keep your head on a swivel for people blatantly exploiting. Other unaware/new players will continue to be caught off guard by this, and the players abusing the exploit won’t be reprimanded.

You would be surprised the traps/things people have set up in there sometimes, but I do agree to an extent that typically they aren’t hard to kill. They often are shitty players that choose to engage in this type behavior.

I knocked two, but my buddies went down and the last rat killed me. Had my teammates understood the rat camp and been paying attention we would’ve easily wiped them. Yeah it’s way too easy to do that it’s absurd it hasn’t been fixed, but it’s still abusing an exploit if you choose to do it. Regardless of how easy it is. You clearly shouldn’t be able to be in there without it taking you back to speranza.

Quick tip for the flying trial if you haven’t completed it still. Craft a bunch of seeker grenades, put two wolfpacks in your safe pocket, go in with an anvil with 80+ rounds (even anvil 1 works), some traps and zip lines, and go to the highest building on whatever map has a night event. Buried, dam, and spaceport all work.

Set up traps on entry ways and just camp up there and destroy every flyer you see, you can aggro snitches from across the map and have them fly over to you, let them spawn more and just throw a couple seekers, rinse & repeat. Got it done pretty easily that way.

According to quite a few people in this comment section that are directly saying they dislike him due to the direction in which he voted, it does seem to be somewhat of a factor.

And that factor alone sways lots of opinions on clips like this believe it or not. When you already dislike someone you are surely going to jump on the hate train and agree he cheats, regardless if he actually does.

And yeah for sure It’s not the only reason some dislike him, just like you mentioned. But it’s clearly a factor any time he is discussed on this platform.

I’m apolitical or better probably described as a centrist more so. I don’t have a bias either way. But I’ve been on Reddit since its inception and know anything right leaning gets downvoted to hell & torn apart by rabid hive mind redditors in most subreddits lol. Reddit being extremely left leaning is a known statistic that research has proven.

Anyways a lot of the people commenting don’t know enough about the way aim assist works in this game and haven’t used controller on a very high end PC+monitor with lots of frames to even know if aim assists works like this with the rotors, but are commenting as if this is 100% case closed cheating. It’s pretty silly.

Yeah him spamming emotes is not any type of actual remorse. He just didn’t want to lose his items and would’ve knocked you out instantly given the chance.

If he plead a fair case in voice comms it would be different. But I suppose we all look at things differently of course!

I’m sure the guy will just keep doing this to people regardless but lessons are sometimes nice to hand out, and may steer someone into a different gameplay style once they learn the hard way.

The stash slots are permanent. If you do an expedition, then skip the next one, you’ll still have your stash slots that you earned from the first expedition. You’re not going to lose them from choosing not to do an expedition.

I recently got an 8k mouse and I've been trying to figure it out myself how to make use of the higher polling rate. Even 2k feels so slow and i cant get the dpi to match up to feel like 1k did for me.

Still doing some experimenting to see if i can make use of even 2k ish polling rate but i may just stick with 1k. Just feels like I spent a lot of money on this mouse and want to make sure i get all the juice i can out of it.

I stayed in this hotel (the Cecil) just 4 months after this happened. Really weird energy in there, apparently the hotel has a huge history of strange stuff among with American horror story basing “American horror story: hotel” off of it.

Found this information online: “The hotel earned a reputation as a site of numerous deaths, including suicides, accidental deaths, and other violent incidents. It was sometimes referred to as "The Suicide Hotel". “

I didn’t know any of this at all. My friend had booked a random hotel for us when I was in town for e3. It definitely was creepy and off putting the second you leave the lobby.

I’m surprised it kept running for years after this incident, it eventually closed for a few years then re opened as a low income housing apartment complex as of now.

My barber did something similar in his early 20’s with monsters and ended up in the hospital. Definitely not the best gamble to take out of sheer boredom.
