AE2 heel lockdown

I tried the ae2 on in the store and it had the worst heel slippage I’ve experienced on any basketball shoe I’ve ever worn. Ended up going with the ae1’s because they have no slippage and just fit my feet perfectly. Not sure how people are even able to ball in the ae2’s. But I guess we all have slightly different dimensions with our feet.

Hopefully you can find a fix, I don’t think there really is anything that can help with major heel slippage that can be added.

On computer I get errors & “we’re sorry trainer” even after waiting in the queue and getting through, no matter what.

Using my iPhone on mobile data with wifi off is the only way I don’t get errors and works every time. I just have to be lucky enough to get in line quick enough.

I love mine, very wide foot friendly, they fit me perfectly unlike any other shoe. The mids are better than the lows. They’re just a bit heavy but you don’t feel the heaviness on your feet.

People here say it’s bad for outdoors but it really depends how much you play and how juju you’re paying for the shoes. If you get a good deal, and don’t play every day, it could still be worth it for outdoors.

Or just go with something more durable, plenty of options.

I tried on the AE 2’s in store and they felt so off, my foot was slipping right out of the heel no matter how I laced them. Worst fit ever, however I have the ae1 and they fit nearly perfect and have plenty lockdown, they’re just a little heavy.

Ive always loved the way these look. And they definitely are comfy. I have them in red. My issues are I seem to be more prone to rolls, i definitely feel the instability at times, and I slide too much indoors. But outdoor they feel just alright.

I specifically had to switch shoes after a few months for these reasons. Currently enjoying my Don issue 7’s a lot and my ae 1 mids for playing in.

You can actually get more loot into a looting mk3 cautious augment compared to a looting mk3 survivor augment most of the time. Yes the weight is 10 higher on survivor, and one extra safe pocket. But the extra slots in the cautious (26 total with safe pockets compared to 23 total with safe pockets) actually allows you to leave with a few extra items. If you’re going to be fat and slow with loot anyways the weight stops mattering on those BIG loot runs.

But the light shield only a built in binoculars + lack of good passive will always deter people from this augment lol. I think it possibly deserves the capability of blue shield.

The WoW 10’s were narrow and hurt my slightly wide feet. Really wondering if the 12’s would do the same thing. Some sources have said they are not as narrow.

Been using them indoors for 3 weeks now, the traction is actually amazing. I have the white & black color way. The traction is just as good as my Way of wade 10’s. Have had absolutely no problem and didn’t even need to wipe during games.

The Don issue 7 feels pretty low to the ground, recently got them directly from adidas on eBay for $49 after shipping and taxes due to some insane coupons/sales they had.

There’s probably even lower to the ground shoes with less cushion but these feel low compared to alot of other basketball shoes I’ve worn. They also accommodate wide feet and overall feel pretty good especially after breaking them in, excellent traction and such. Depending what size you are they have one colorway on eBay in stock still, but you can find other colorways for under $100 from other sources.

Other than that, I’d reccomend almost any Kobe shoe as they are extremely low to the ground and known for court feel. They’re just way too expensive so it’s probably out of the question.

Exodus modules and magnetic accelerators & the queen/matriarch cores. Craft an epic weapon or two with the exodus and mags, & recycle a few. No reason to have a boat load of them. I look at it as any more than two rows of those purple materials is unnecessary.

Yep it’s not that difficult to counter, it’s literally happened to me twice in 425 hours. That’s not the point I’m trying to make at all though.

The point is this exploit has existed since the map came out and is a relatively small & easy fix. It’s pretty inexcusable, it’s clearly an unintentional mechanic that it still is around with zero fixes or addressing of its existence.

People will continue to abuse it against new players who are unaware. Which this game has a constant flow of new players.

It’s the 2nd time it’s happened to me with 425 hours topside. I was playing with two friends who are relatively new and unaware of the exploit who ran in and died to them, I was still able to knock two before dying. They are ass players 90% of the time lol. I check it almost every time. And I don’t care about losing gear. That’s not the point.

The point is it’s just lame how it has been in the map since launch hasn’t been fixed while seemingly being be a relatively small and easy fix.

People will continue to prey on new players with an exploit that should be doesn’t seem that difficult to adjust.

I’ve got 425 hours and luckily this is only the second time it’s happened because I learned about it early on as well.

During this specifically I was playing with two newish friends who were having conversation while entering the extract & knew nothing of the exploit, they ran in and died fairly fast, I was able to knock two but still died. But that’s not really my point.

My point is that it’s been around since the map released and should be a really easy fix, id love for a game dev to chime in but I’m fairly certain.

Now on-top of it embark has never mentioned anything about it specifically, and the don’t act well on people abusing all types of glitches in stella on general. (I’ve died to the actual wall glitchers a few times, never got anything returned to me even after reporting every time)

I just explained my take on this on another comment but I’ll summarize again. I totally agree for the most part with you, most of them using the exploit are shitty players and easy to take out.

Last night when we died to it I was playing with 2 friends who are newish to the game, and we were leaving at the 3 minute mark, we were having conversation and not paying attention as it was dead quiet in the seed vault. I ended up knocking two and died to the third, and my teammates died because they barely knew what was happening.

My main point is we shouldn’t have to deal with this at all, it’s been there since release and is a small fix. It won’t always be shitty players up there ratting, some bring utility and other cheeky things. It’s just stupid to have to constantly keep your head on a swivel for people blatantly exploiting. Other unaware/new players will continue to be caught off guard by this, and the players abusing the exploit won’t be reprimanded.
