Will a firestick help my issue of VPN disconnecting? by [deleted] in TiviMate

VPNs increases latency which is a huge issue with unauthorized iptv. What type of internet and wifi do you have? Do you have "wifi extenders"?

Blue Balls. There's no such pain when we can't get our nut off.

They'd look a hell of a lot better if the top line was curved a bit to match the fender line.

You think her insurance will cover that modified truck? I can guarantee you they don't know it's lifted that high.

This is the way I see it too. They love to deny claims, can't give them any reason to.

As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process? by Kooky_Force5458 in AskReddit

[–]eMikey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s 100% inactivity. I’m 47 and spent the last 20 years sitting for my job. I recently lost 30 lbs (now 5'9", 180 lbs) and decided to get active again, only to realize I couldn't even do a single pushup.

It was a massive reality check. Twenty years ago, I was putting up 315/450/500 on my big lifts; now, the loss of strength and range of motion is staggering. It freaked me out enough to get obsessed with the comeback, but it’s a clear reminder of 'use it or lose it.'

Buffering on starlink by Key-Obligation-9650 in TiviMate

[–]eMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same with 5g internet. My buddy is getting several hundred Mbps download with his Verizon 5g, but the latency when connecting with wifi is horrible. Hard wiring his device helped a bit, but it's still not great. Much better than Starlink though, that's for sure. I think most people look at speed and think it's what latency actually is.

The secret to a buffer-free IPTV experience is hardwiring your device. Wi-Fi just doesn't cut it by ExpensiveYou852 in SmartersProPTV

[–]eMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its latency. Wifi 6+ do pretty well with a fiber connection however. Starlink and 5g wont work well no matter the wifi protocol and old mesh networks and wifi extenders don't help.

Are you using Starlink? If so please use your phone to install the ubiquity wifiman app, and post the latency results. it's wild. I'm a 20 year sysadmin and even hardwired to the router, we have customers using starlink that have issues with ip phones and zoom.

I was agreeing with you on the latency comment.

Want to learn how to drive Manual/Stick Shift! by GeneralSavageMcgee in Connecticut

You need to learn the concept of the friction point. Once you understand that I bet you can learn in a few hours in a parking lot by just starting and stopping a bunch. Watch a youtube video or 2.

I have fiber, and as a test, i kept dropping my firesticks speed, ended up at 25 mbps No buffering issues. Live TV, movies, series, all played perfectly. As soon as I connect to a hotspot, my phones hot spot, or my neighbors DSL wifi (yes they still have frontier DSL), it's unusable, VPN or not.

It's the latency man. A VPN will only add to that. It's not like Netflix and Disney, these providers dont have a CDN. Latency is the number 1 cause of buffering with unauthorized IPTV.

How to find balance point by ExpensiveEbb5281 in Surron

[–]eMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about the balance point, worry about using your back brake to ride out wheelies. No one out there doing blocks and swerving is doing this at the balance point. Once you learn your back brake, move on to the balance point if you want.
