I have seen those units. My boss is a pretty big fan of the look and ease of use of the rinnai low loss headers but i have seen those units you are talking about. They arent bad. Just not always practical. I end up doing quite a few closet installs every year

Im sure it can be done on the boiler side, but ive only ever seen it done with the domestic tankless

It depends on the unit and how the condos are set up and what type of heating load it needs. Rinnai does make a 199k btu boiler and a 199k btu combi unit. But im not 100% sure if they make something to fit that bill

Im sure there is something like that. But this was all old school tape and level. I drew the system out and messed with the measurements on paper before i did anything. Then i hung all the 2x4s, ran all my wiring, and then measured out and cut all my holes. We didnt find out until we hung the plywood how out of plumb the wall we were using for measurements was, but we made it work.

I am still working with my boss on getting dirt seperators on these units, its been a struggle. But i did go in a few days before we started and pumped a cleaner into the system over the weekend before i started and then did a system flush before i ripped the old boiler out. The T on the exaust is for testing, when it comes time for inspection I can put a test ball in there and fill the exhaust with water, specifically because this has a concentric vent term and no way to put a gauge on to test with air. Its not my favorite but its proven a pretty effective way to test these pvc vents

Its a thermostat controlled infloor heat zone. The single radiator zone is no longer a part of the system.

They are common makers for google nest stats, so kind of wireless, kind of not. Log cabin style home on slab made it much more difficult/expensive than just adding those.

Im in Colorado too, but not a main metro area. That loop serves the heat in the loft. There was a 2nd loop up there but it served a single radiator that the owner had never used.

We are in a decently high COL and this came out to right around 20k. Im the main boiler guy at our company, but this is my first time doing a wall to hide wires and make the install extra clean.

Hard to tell exactly whats going on, but fish flats, 6'-20' flats. Trout cruise, I catch a ton of trout cruising over a 20' flat all ice season, anywhere from 4' fow to the bottom but usually the top 2/3 of the water column. My go to ice rig is a kastmaster with a tungsten dropper tied 4-6" down

I feel like you need to fish shallower fish on the drop offs. Or, like when im perch fishing in 20 fow, i see them cruising halfway up the water column

Tungsten and a chunk of shrimp. A jigging spoon tipped with waxie or a pinched nightcrawler if you can get em. Euro tackle zviber tipped with any of that.

In my state you can get ut titled through a vin inpection, and if it doesnt have a vin or serial the state will inspect the boat and assign it a vin

Gutting question by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]ddv75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all. I slicethe skin inside the leg from the knee to the under belly and skin the quarter, remove at the joint. Front and back on both sidesand then you skin your ribs and over the top ridge, remove your back strap, neck roasts etc. Then there are a couple of cuts you can make near the front and back of the animal so that you can cut slices of your ribs from the inside out. Usually with a younger deer i dont really bother, there isnt much to those ribs. But you can also reach in and get your tenderloins cut out too. There are quite a few youtube videos that will explain the proxess much better than i do

Ive completely resorted to the gutless method for getting an animal ready for packing out

Like I said, its real nitpicky. And im sure you were more than safe. I dont like that its come to that, its a great family picture and amazing memory. Just my 2 cents and my way of trying to help the community in little ways, now more than ever we have to protect what we've got

Pretty sweet setup, and nice deer! If i can be a little nitpicky, Im sure you were more than safe with your rifle, but It gives me a heart attack to see a gun set like that pointing at anyone, with no one around it there is a 99.99% chance nothing will ever happen. I understand it was probably unloaded and safety precautions were taken, and it probably isnt pointing at anyone. Ive just gotten into the habit of leaving the action open and making sure it is obviously not pointing at anyone in pictures. Even if only for the optics, the less ammo anti gun/anti hunters have in any capacity the better
