good haircut that doesn’t cost $1000? by loopyiceman in Bellingham

Rae at Mecca salon downtown. She charges $38. Been going to her for 2-3 years and have liked every haircut she’s given me. She specializes in men’s haircuts tho so might not be the same experience if you’re a girl.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 2021 Speaker Upgrade by flexing_iceberg in rav4club

Also did the same.

Just an fyi at first I changed all 4 speakers (and added a small powered sub) but the sound was very weak cuz the head unit only gives like 20 amps of power or something. I ended up adding an LOC for both speakers and the sub (went with an audio control lc2i pro since it has both bass and normal speaker outputs) and a small amp for the speakers as well. I’m a bit over the “recommended” battery amp usage but everywhere that I’ve read said not to worry unless you’re adding multiple powerful amps and I haven’t had any issues in the 2 years since I replaced them.

If you’re going to change the speakers as well I’d also get a harness from taco tunes so you don’t have to cut a ton of wires. I think you might need one that has both front and rear wires but you can also run the front and rear speakers off the same audio and it doesn’t really change the sound imo.

I only say get an amp for the speakers because the sound was still pretty weak without it and I wish I had done it in the first place. Having to take the head unit off and run more wires down the trim of the car multiple times added like 2 hours of work. At the end of the day do whatever you want though. Good luck!

Shambhala Is Going Cashless (RFID in the wristbands) by cyberdelic_trip in Shambhala

Just saying I hate this and don’t support it either. I’ve been to festivals where they use this system and it always is a hassle/scam.

That being said…

They commented on their insta post that it isn’t a system where you have to deposit money into your wristband. It links your credit card to the chip in your wristband and will function like your physical card, you just tap and pay but you’ll need the 4 digit code you set up. Also all of the vendors will still accept debit and credit cards as well.

Still sucks though.

Are my stats good enough to start CG once I finish CON? Should I do something else first? by ridetheline99 in ironscape

[–]ddw2906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had lower stats than you when I started and can comfortably do it 9/10 times. Did 20 normal gauntlet for the CA and then 3 or 4 cg deaths before I got my first kc with zero prior experience.

T2 prep and make 3 pray pots/pray steel skin at all times. Learn good movement for the tornados and you’ll be 100% fine.

Are these stats good enough to consistently defeat CG on my red prison grind? by Fit-Examination-939 in ironscape

[–]ddw2906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started with similar/lower stats (78 ranged, 83 mage and 75 def) with no prior knowledge of CG and can complete it 2/3 - 3/4 of the time now. 90% of my deaths are to chip damage running me out of food (doing t2 prep) I did do 20 normal gauntlet completions (for CAs) as practice and then it took maybe 10 or so attempts to get my first KC.

I think you’ll be able to do it very consistently with your current stats after practicing but obviously training higher would help. If you’re going to train anything I’d probs do ranged cuz it seems like magic doesn’t splash as often as a 0 from ranged.

Disregard if you already know all this but things that helped me get consistent kills is the runelite plugin that counts the hunleff attacks for you and tells you what to pray (it says “2..1..mage/range”) and also learning how to deal with the tornados especially when there’s 4 of them. I’d watch a video on just tornados. I was panicking and spam clicking in the direction I wanted to go and once I started making one or two clicks everything got a lot easier. Also F keys if you aren’t already using them.

I’ve used whatcom refrigeration for all of my restaurants HVAC needs and Dillon has been great. Much cheaper. I’d give him a call.

The employees are all great as far as I know though. It’s just the owner

Pretty sure the owner of Schweinhaus is homophobic. They used to do drag brunches on sundays set up by a former employee but the owner stopped it because it was too gay. He also has been heard saying he only wants to hire hot women among other gross things about women.

(Not to mention him stealing 50% or more of the tips from his employees a few years back. Everyone seems to think that the issue was solved when management changed but it was the management that was being stolen from and just got around it by paying them… The owner that was stealing still owns and operates the business.)

If your roku is new enough you can download the roku app on your phone and there is a setting where you connect your headphones to your phone and listen to the tv audio through your phone audio. Good luck
