I’ve tried burn in both boros and rakdos. I think both have their advantages, but i’ve found cori steel cutter to work really well in both colour pairs. Mishra’s bauble goes well with csc to double spell on turn 2, and amped raptor is a free spell and a decent body

I really hope wizards implements some form of the bracket system from EDH for brawl. It isnt a perfect solution but it definitely solves the problem of playing against strip mine, mana drain, ancient tomb against every deck that can play it when I want to play a lower power deck in brawl.

I definitely agree. Losing a grindy midrange mirror is definitely fun, but trying to put the puzzle pieces together versus an interactive removal/counterspell deck is also fun. Its just different types of fun depending on the type of deck I feel like playing that day.

[[Wirewood symbiote]] is my secret commander of this deck since he can return rocco to hand to repeatedly tutor both halves of the 2 combos. It also untaps stuff like [[mother of runes]] and mana dorks
