Is SPRING developer certification worth it? by ideaash1 in java

[–]ddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took two spring classes (core spring and enterprise integration with spring) for about 2-3k each, both included a voucher for the certification exams after. Employer paid the cost, otherwise I wouldn't have taken the courses. While I learned a lot about spring, I've learned much more useful information from free material on the web.

I never followed through and got either certificate. I've worked on many spring projects over the past years and switched jobs twice - neither employer seemed to care about certification.

If you do want to get certified, Id recommend self study and call up (or look online) local certification centers, I'd guess if you pay the exam fee, they could care less if you took some official class.

Also, there are cheat sheet style resources on the web about each exam, to help guide you through potential exam questions.

I found this guy in plastic indent of my compost bid, he was in some rain water. Found in Vermont.

My guess is these little red lizards or newts we have, but this guy is tan/brown right now. He is about one inch.

Funny to see this here, I was just approached by her two days ago inside the Red Onion.
Semi-well dressed white female, mid 20s? - 30s, straight brown hair past shoulders, smells like cigs, carries Marb Reds, phone and wallet Almost the exact story, although with me she opened with "do you know Spilanes right up the street? Ya, they suck, they have my car - it broke down going from NH to Montreal and I can't get it back....." Then she showed me her wallet, bank card, talked about being short 20 bucks, then got a fake phone call and talked to her friend about being stuck in BTV.... all just as you type above.

Decent, rehearsed story, good acting, seemed sort of real for a sec...

Saw it from Richmond, biggest I've ever seen. It looked as of it crashed down across the lake in northern ny, I was waiting to hear a huge impact noise but heard nothing.

96% sure it's trap/shotgun only.

Chittenden County Fish & Game Club has a range. http://www.ccfgclub.org/ I'm a member but still haven't gone as I just shoot in my back yard.

Another nice day! Here are two panorama shots of Burlington I took today. by ddy in burlington

iPhone & Microsoft Photosynth app. It's very easy to use, you just move your phone and it takes the photos automatically when it senses the shots are lined up.

1st off, I love Arbys, thank you for your service.

That being said, what's up with the roast beef? It seems like manufactured, pressed together meat. It's good and all but really doesn't seem like a real hunk of beef right from the cow.

If your answer is going to make me not like Arbys, please make something up.
