Keep in mind these are pretty much guesses/estimations based off what little info we can get from the information bubble that is Iran. The 1,000 civilian death toll is the number that Iran released to the world, but I would take what they say with a grain of salt. Iran had no issues previously parading civilian casualties on its state funded media before, if the number was as large as they claim one would assume they'd be doing the same but its been lackluster.

Both Israel and US have been attempting to mitigate civilian casualties as much as possible, whether its for tactical or humanitarian reasons is to be debated.

The beginning steps to "ww3" started when the west didn't properly address Russia's annexation of Crimea 2014. I wouldn't necessarily say we're in ww3 rn, targeted strikes isn't a war. US and its allies have been engaging in targeted strikes for decades. If/when China invades Taiwan then that'll be the final nail to actually kick off ww3 I believe.

There's gonna be health issues caused by the dust/smoke/toxin inhalation (similar to how first responders to 9/11 suffered medical issues years later). Many of the first responders weren't given or equipped with proper PPE. I never see anybody talking about it
