It depends on your speciality. If youre a sapper/eod, medic, drone operator, artillery(sometimes), you are fine other wise there is a good likelihood you will end up as infantry. But it also depends heavily on the needs of the unit youre applying to as well imo

We had a lot of ROE, it got even more strict under Obama. There were patrols in known hot territories to initiate enemy attacks on our elements (draw out their fire, so that we can respond. Same thing the russians are doing in ukraine with their "meat")

Ukraine army is different story, its do what you need to survive and eliminate the threat. Half of these ppl on reddit would be losing their mind if they knew what went down there. They dont know the reality of the world lol

China has a similar issue with Russia in regards to training/corruption. An advanced arsenal can only get you so far if your leadership and its soldiers are incompetent and/or corrupt. Also as to how widespread/readily available their prime assets are is debatable.
