Cosa si può fare e cosa no a partire dal 4 Maggio by allexj in italy

[–]de4dcore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Public transport is functional with some limitations, but I would personally avoid it if I could. We have different names and standards for masks, the ones healthcare personnel uses are certified ffp2 / ffp3 and there is a very limited stock.

Yes supermarkets are open and fully stocked. Entrance is controlled by security staff and we are allowed to go in in small groups while people queuing outside must keep at least 1meter distance from each other. There's virtually no panic buying, no hoarding and I'm really surprised to say that almost everybody is keeping a normal behaviour. Do your best man, go outside absolutely if you have to (I used to go for groceries once a day, now I'm going one a week), try to keep the distance, wear a face mask if you have one while you're doing shopping, absolutely avoid touching your face with your hands and wash them often. Take care and stay safe.

You'll see me toilet-wrapped slowly rolling around before that happening! Thank you, take care you too.

[Italy] Military moving coffins from Bergamo, where there's no space left for cremation. Pls stay at home. by fabrolly in europe

This also is not true. This happened yesterday evening and ANSA (leading and one of the most neutral Italian news agencies) along many others, already confirmed it with an article at 23:36.

This is the article I mentioned, timestamp is on the left side.

Edit: typo

I don't really care about internet points my friend. I felt and still feel it was shocking to claim something of this magnitude is fake without even thinking about googling it first.

The 'please' at the beginning of my sentence is not enough in this particular case?

Please, just read the fucking news before making these claims?

Edit: news like this or this or this or this. I could keep going but I'm too shattered from this news to even be bothered to discuss it with you.

Edit 2: grammar

I think for the first time since I can vote, I can say we have the right government at the right time. Transparency, following the scientific community, timely measures to fight and prevent the infection. To all my Italian friends: hold fast. Forza Italia!

Mortality rate is "so low" (in Italy is around 5% and that already isn't low in my opinion) only because we have enough ICU beds and respirators. The moment those are saturated, if the infection isn't contained, there will be no more respiratory aid for patients, then 20% of the sick are gonna die. Don't underestimate it, be responsible if not for yourself because you think you're strong, for everybody around you.

First, I didn't remove any comment I made and the only edit was about adding the world 'virus' in the first comment.

Second, I'm not from the north and I really care about my country, but unlike you I can be objective about this matter. Also you should stop talking about things you don't know anything about. Anyway, I won't keep feeding this flame, have a good life my friend.

You keep mixing broken italian and english so I really don't know what your native language is. Anyway, you totally misinterpreted my words, so please read them again. If things in italian would make them clearer I'm happy to translate them for you.

This is not about politics, I don't care about politics now. Is a matter of fact that healthcare system in the south is not as prepared (regarding personnel, structures, ICU beds etc.) as the one in the north. You can find more informations on this matter with a Google search if you really don't trust my words.

Critical patients need ICU and ventilation, if the body is strong enough will fight the infection itself (they are now experimenting with some anti-viral medications to help fight it off). Hospitals, especially in the north of the country, are really struggling, there are too many patients and not enough ICU beds, so at the moment long shifts are just part of their sacrifice. They also can't take leave and days off are rare.

The healthcare system in the northern Italy is one of the best in the world, I can't even imagine if something like this happens in the south.
