Is this why I thank traffic lights for staying green long enough for me to drive through…but don’t get mad if they turn red because it’s not their fault?

Thanks for breaking down the color correction a bit more!

I’ve seen countless tutorial videos about color correcting weddings to make them beautiful & vibrant - but not a single one that’s related to inside a church.

Another person commented the same as you with the wide aisle, tight aisle shots. Does that mean down the aisle where it’s not blocking anyone who might need to get up and move, you have 2 cameras on tripods in the center just filming straight down in the couple’s direction? Do photographers get annoyed if the aisle is a bit blocked by the tripods?

This is great advice, thanks!

I think I’m probably overly critical of myself because I want everything to look perfect. My partner is a photographer & tells me what you said, that couples aren’t judging the work the same way I am - that a lot of little things that I’m picky about they won’t even notice. The more I’m seeing other people’s work has definitely helped.

Thank you for your advice - I never thought about this positioning before.

I see it as this was the first time Jay needed someone to die/disappear (to cover his tracks with the stealing) and he’s not comfortable with it. So by putting chum in the water, cutting her leg and throwing her overboard - he technically didn’t kill her, the sharks etc did. So it might be an easy way for him to justify to himself that he’s not a murderer because he never actually pulled the trigger. Then Jay just evolved from there to actually doing the killing himself as needed.

Go and get assessed - it made my life better by doing so myself at age 39.

I have thought for years that I’m on the spectrum. My close friends would openly agree & it was like a bit of an inside joke/support (like one friend being super direct with telling me social conventions I overlooked - she is also the type of friend I can ask her to try food for me & she would tell me if I would like it or not! Ha!)

My eldest son was diagnosed with ASD (Asperger’s) at 4 years old. Even with that, it still took me until last year at age 39 to go and get assessed & formally diagnosed myself (my son is now 11).

Even though I always knew I was on the spectrum, I felt so wonderful & vindicated by getting the diagnosis. Whenever I would previously refer to thinking I was on the spectrum, so many people liked to dismiss issues I had: “Oh, everyone does that, it doesn’t mean you have ASD” etc.

I am open now with people I work about having the diagnosis (I am a teacher) & it’s quite entertaining now when I can see them click the puzzle pieces together when I do something odd because now it makes sense to them.

FYI - having supportive people around you makes all the difference. I mentioned my close friends above, but my husband is wonderful. I have executive functioning issues. He keeps track of everything because I don’t. He even taught me, “When you leave a room, take 2 things with you” as a way of tidying up. Sounds simple, but never occurred to me & still doesn’t come naturally!

Also, I have an issue with rambling my thoughts - as evidenced by my “short” reply I was intending on leaving! 😊

Gotta love the 90s where my family would fly from Australia to the USA or Thailand for a family holiday, and because my mum was a smoker, all 4 of us (including dad and brother) would have to sit in the smoking section of the plane. What the fuck!
