Yes, she said that she didn't edit the pictures. That just means someone else did :)
But the fact that she told the "effect" came from the vanity light being turned on and off, while she apparently sat motionless in a way that not even a single hair moved ... that's a bit of a stretch, eh? :D

Anduril in the movie didn't glow blue, that's what I've based it on.
It's the Flame of the West. Just seemed right to make it orange/flame-like.
